G-Sensor irresponsive when device is in unattended mode

Hello,

When device is Power ON state, G-Sensor returns accurate values of x, y & z. But when device is kept in unattended mode, G-Sensor is unable to respond. It returns same values for x, y & z all the time when device is in unattended mode. It captures the last x, y & z values when device was in power on state and returns the same values until device comes out of unattended mode.

I am using HTC diamond to work on.

Any clues why G-Sensor is not able to return valid values when device is in unattended mode? Any chance to override this case?

Thanks,
Krupal

I found a way, we need to provide proper power to g-sensor while device is in unattended mode.

I modified registry value for "\HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\State\Unattended\ecs1:" from 4 to 0.

It works fine on HTC Touch Diamond :)
